"Kretek" Cigarette Traditional Museum

Traditional cigarette Museum provided by House of Sampoerna. On of most popular production clove cigarette in Indonesia, especially Eas Java. The House in "old Surabaya", this stately Dutch Colonial style compound was built in 1858 and is now a preserved historical site. The compound at down town Surabaya at Jalan Taman Sampoerna, consist of a large central auditorium, two smaller buildings on the east and west side and numerous large, single story, open space structures behind the auditorium. The side buildings were converted to family residences and the large warehouse like structure were used to accommodated facilities for tobacco and clove processing, blending, hard rolling and packaging, printing and finished good processing.
