By Air
There are four air gates to Central Java, namely: Achmad Yani International Airport of Semarang, Adi Sumarmo Airport of Solo, Tunggul Wulung Airport of Cilacap, Dewandaru Airport of Karimunjwa Island.
Domestic Airlines operating to and from Central Java are Garuda Indonesia, Merpati Nusantara, Bouraq, Mandala, Sriwijaya, Adam, Batavia, Jatayu and Deraya Airlines. While international airlines operating to and from Central Java is Singapore's Silk Air which connect Solo - Singapore and Garuda Indonesia which connect Semarang - Singapore.
By Land
Due to the rapid progress in transportation and communication system, it is very easy to get to Central Java from East Java, West Java, even from Sumatra and Bali or Lombok.
Trains, buses and other land vehicles are always available to take visitor from East and West Java vv., either by day and night.
By Sea
Two important seaports are international seaport of Semarang's Tanjung Emas on the north coast and Cilacap's Tanjung Intan on the south coast. Tanjung Emas seaport of Semarang has biweekly regular sailing services with Jakarta, Pontianak, Banjarmasin, Surabaya, Ujung Pandang, Bali, and Lombok. |
